Timeline project for kids


Children who's now first grade student in a elementary school is much more different unlike in previous year as kinder garden student. Their classes will starts from 7:30 in the morning then to be end for a short break at 11:30 am which scheduled for their lunch break and after that they now continue the lecture routine at 12:30 in the afternoon up to 3:30 pm time to dismiss the class. 

Teachers in first grade are focusing more on basic reading, learning basic language in English vocabulary and how the proper pronunciation in each word and of course this first grader student doing their best with the help of the teachers.

The image below is one of the first grader Timeline Project common activity and project recommended by the teacher which shows not only their physical looks but also how they progress and improve year by year from start from birth up to 6 years of their existence, showing and explaining if or what activities they enjoying day by day.


Things Needed:  


1. Printed Pictures 

2. Cardboard / Illustration as your canvas

3. Cartolina

4. Colored pen

5. Colored twisted wire / any colored wool

6.  Sticker (optional)

7. Glue

8. Scissors 

9. Plastic transparent cover

10. Tape

Procedure:


Note: Use the black side of the cardboard. For this design they used Batman Theme.

First Cut out a batman logo or any cartoon characters that they love the most for additional appreciation, the size should be enough to fit in the board. Second Paste the logo (use as header) on the upper part of the board in this case you may consider a light type color (this sample use yellow).Third randomly attach the picture into the cartolina ( you can redecorate the edge of each picture when cutting for additional design. Use colored pen to highlight the side of the picture for contrast effect. Then put some stickers (optional). Decorate the background with different colors (use anything you have provided cotton wool or twisted wire), simply make the name of your subject (in the picture above they use orange for the name, green and violet for the edge design..Tadaahhh...and thats it, a simple but colorful TIMELINE. Most important to preserve your art work use the transparent plastic for covering.
